East Peoria home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in East Peoria rose by $13,250 while total sales decreased by 14.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 114 homes sold, with a median sale price of $140,000 - a 10.5% increase over the $126,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 134 homes sold in East Peoria in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in East Peoria for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,783, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
