South Pekin home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in South Pekin rose by $51,000 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $83,000 - a 159.4% increase over the $32,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in South Pekin in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in South Pekin for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,315, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
