Canton City issued the following announcement on Sept. 18.
Did you know that Lewistown is home to one of the last remaining Fulton County Narrow Gauge Depots? It is located on the corner of Washington and Jefferson Streets just west of the Fulton County Courthouse. The Depot is owned by the Lewistown Society for Historic Preservation and has an on site caboose which is available for tours.
The Depot is open by appointment only and during the Spoon River Valley Scenic Drive, which is coming up on October 5 & 6, 12 & 13.
