Morton home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Morton fell by $10,250 while total sales decreased by 8.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 99 homes sold, with a median sale price of $180,000 - a 5.4% decrease over the $190,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 108 homes sold in Morton in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Morton for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,907, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
