Canton City issued the following announcement on April 9.
On Friday, April 10, City of Canton offices will be closed in observance of the Good Friday holiday. Friday's garbage route will be picked up on Monday, along with Monday's regular route. Pick-up times may vary from the usual time, so residents are asked to have their garbage out by 7:00 am so they won't be missed.
