Chillicothe Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 12.
On June 9th the City of Chillicothe, Illinois and Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce held a dedication and ribbon cutting for the new electronic message center on the corner of Fourth and Beech Streets which shares the site with the new CEFCU ATM and is now open for business. State Representative Ryan Spain attended the celebration (of ten or less with face masks). Representative Spain had granted the City $50,000 for the message center and applauded our strategy of using the message center to invite people to attend our many not-for-profit events and to encourage 4th street travelers to visit other key areas of the city. During the dedication Mayor White presented Ryan Spain a key to the city.
