Analysis: Bartonville pays $3.65 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Bartonville Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 78.6 percent of the $367,321 the Bartonville Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.65 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Peoria Standard analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Bartonville contributed $288,720 to the fund, which saw a $874 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $78,893, or 21.5 percent, in 2018.
