City of Elmwood issued the following announcement on July 4.
Happy Independence Day! We hope everyone has a safe and wonderful day! Remember to follow state guidelines at the firework celebration tonight, social distance and if you can't for a moment please wear a mask. A reminder that the concession stand will be closed at Sweetwater but the Palace Theater will have their concessions open. They are set up to follow state guidelines. In other exciting news, one of Elmwood's favorite summer traditions is back starting tomorrow evening (Sunday, July 5th) the Municipal Band will be performing in Central Park. The band be located in the North East corner of the park, they will be spread out and it is recommended that no one sit within 15 feet of the band. Please spread yourselves out throughout the park, if you can't social distance from those not in your family please wear a mask. Be safe in the heat, social distancing will be the key. The City of Elmwood is excited to continue these traditions but ask that you please follow phase 4 guidelines.
