As of August 27, there have been 112 Tazewell County residents in their sixties who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.

There have been 5,744 residents in their sixties in the county who had been tested, meaning that one percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through August 27, there have been 1,019 confirmed COVID-19 cases and nine deaths from the coronavirus in Tazewell County.
