Illinois State House District 88 issued the following announcement on Sept. 2.
A new requirement issued by the Illinois Department of Public Health will require that masks be worn during any interaction with the staff of a restaurant. This requirement applies when being seated, ordering, having food delivered to the table, paying the bill or any other time a patron is in contact with an employee. It comes after an increased spread of coronavirus in the state attributed in part to infections occurring in bars and restaurants.
