City Of Canton issued the following announcement on Dec. 16.
Executive Order No. 18, issued December 1, 2020, shall remain in full force and effect, except as modified herein.
For the purposes of the Truth in Taxation Public Hearings to be held on December 15, 2020 at 5:30 pm, City Hall shall be open to the public for those desiring to attend the hearing and provide testimony/comment. Following the truth in Taxation Public hearing, City shall again be closed to the general public until further notice. Only City employees, personnel ans elected officials and other necessary to the continuation of the safety and/or operations of the City shall be permitted in City hall.
