Report: N Pekin-Marquette Heights School District spent $9,655 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at N Pekin-Marquette Heights School District 102 was up 20.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Tazewell County school district spent $8,010 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,655 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 605 to 495 students over the same period.

N Pekin-Marquette Heights's spending in 2019-20 was 33.4 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
