Report: East Peoria School District spent $15,688 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at East Peoria Community High School District 309 was up 4.3 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Tazewell County school district spent $15,047 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,688 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 1,026 to 994 students over the same period.

East Peoria's spending in 2019-20 was 8.3 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
