Report: Delavan School District spent $10,850 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Delavan Community Unit School District 703 was up 1.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Tazewell County school district spent $10,694 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,850 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 474 to 478 students over the same period.

Delavan's spending in 2019-20 was 25.1 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
