Report: Limestone-Walters School District spent $9,206 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Limestone-Walters Community Consolidated School District 316 was up 10.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $8,334 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,206 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment rose from 183 to 191 students over the same period.

Limestone-Walters's spending in 2019-20 was 36.5 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
