Report: Henry Senachwine School District spent $13,046 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Henry Senachwine Community Unit School District 5 was up 14.4 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Marshall County school district spent $11,408 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $13,046 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 600 to 555 students over the same period.

Henry Senachwine's spending in 2019-20 was 10 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
