Report: Roanoke Benson School District spent $12,176 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Roanoke Benson Community Unit School District 60 was up 10 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Woodford County school district spent $11,074 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $12,176 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 521 to 487 students over the same period.

Roanoke Benson's spending in 2019-20 was 16 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
