Report: Vit School District spent $10,462 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Vit Community Unit School District 2 was down 1.7 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Fulton County school district spent $10,648 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,462 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 369 to 328 students over the same period.

Vit's spending in 2019-20 was 27.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
