Report: Pleasant Hill School District spent $10,493 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Pleasant Hill School District 69 was up 22.5 percent from five years ago, according to the Peoria Standard analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Peoria County school district spent $8,564 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $10,493 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 253 to 230 students over the same period.

Pleasant Hill's spending in 2019-20 was 27.6 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
