Eureka median home prices fell by 2.3% in 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in 2021 in Eureka fell by $3,500 while total sales decreased by 32.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2021, there were 53 homes sold, with a median sale price of $146,500 - a 2.3% decrease over the $150,000 median sale price for the previous year. There were 79 homes sold in Eureka in 2020.

The median sales tax in Eureka for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,226, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for 2021.
