How many times were students suspended or expelled in Roanoke-Benson Community Unit School District 60 in 2020-2021 school year?

Roanoke-Benson Community Unit School District 60 reported nine suspensions or expulsions for the 2020-2021 school year, according to the latest student discipline report by the Illinois State Board of Education.

According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 9 students during the year. This equates to two percent of the 432 students enrolled.

The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons, of which there were four. For two incidents, students were suspended for a day or less.

Boy students received nine suspensions.

There were seven elementary or middle school students, and two high school students suspended in 2020-2021 school year.

The district reported that most out-of-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons, of which there were five. For two incidents, students were suspended for three to four days.

Illinois ranks as the 5th state in terms of the overall number of schools and student enrollment among all states.
