City of Chillicothe Police Commission met Nov. 22.
Here are the minutes provided by the commission:
1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 10:01 A.M. by Chairman, Gary Fyke. The following members were present:
a. Gary Fyke, Chuck Vail, Chief Cooper, and secretary, Shayne Jezek.
b. Absent: Beau Ledbetter.
2. Approval of Minutes: Gary made a motion to approve the minutes of last month's meeting: Chuck seconded, and the minutes were approved.
3. Unfinished Business:
a. There was no unfinished business to report at this time.
4. New Business:
a. Chief Cooper updated the Board regarding his transition from Detective to Chief. While Chief Cooper stated that most things would remain status quo, he will be updating certain forms/reports from written to digital.
b. Chief Cooper requested an updated list of possible candidates. Gary will compile a new list.
5. Announcements: There were no new announcements at this time.
6. Public Comments: There were no public comments at this time.
7. Adjournment: Next month's meeting will be December 20, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. Gary made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:40 A.M.; Chuck seconded, and the motion passed.
