Q3 2022 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Stark County?

There were four offenders living in Stark County released on parole during the third quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.

The data shows all of the released offenders in Stark County were men. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2022, and the oldest was a 51-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving alcohol in 2021.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Andrew W. Szparkowski. He was convicted of a property crime in 2020 when he was 29 years old. He is now 32.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the third quarter of 2022 in each Stark County.
