Rep. Weaver has announced a new initiative to support deployed soldiers by organizing a Thank You Cards Drive this summer. The drive will take place from June 10 through August 1. Participants can send their cards to the District Office in Pekin, located at 337 Court Street, or drop them off during regular office hours. All collected cards will be sent to soldiers currently deployed.
Rep. Weaver stated, "I am honored to announce that my office will be hosting a Thank You Cards to Deployed Soldiers Drive this summer."
The effort aims to show appreciation and support for military personnel serving away from home.
