The Peoria County Clerk’s Office is launching a new initiative called Clerking on the Move, which will bring mobile office hours to various locations throughout the county. This program is designed to make it easier for residents to access certified copies of vital records, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates, without having to visit the Peoria County Courthouse.
The first scheduled event will take place on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Morrison & Mary Wiley Library located at 206 W. Main St. in Elmwood. The Clerk’s Office has indicated that additional stops will be announced at other sites across Peoria County in the future.
Residents seeking these documents can pay using cash or checks during these mobile sessions.
