Leaf Collection Schedule Extended in Waukegan

Waukegan Public Works and LRS have announced an extension of the Leaf Collection schedule until Friday, December 22nd, weather permitting. The schedule provided is a guideline, and both Public Works and LRS will make every effort to adhere to it as closely as possible.

The collection schedule for the upcoming days is as follows:

On Monday, December 11, LRS will finish collecting leaves in the 6th Ward (Ridgeland to Julian, Jackson to North Ave.) and begin in the 7th Ward. Meanwhile, Public Works will complete the N. Bonnie Brook Area and move on to the 8th Ward, including Burr Oak, Tewes Farm, DeWoody, and Castle Crest.

On Tuesday, December 12, LRS will continue in the 7th Ward, while Public Works will finish in the 8th Ward, specifically the Heather Heights Area.

Wednesday, December 13, will see LRS continue in the 7th Ward and potentially start in the 4th Ward. Public Works, on the other hand, will focus on completing the 8th Ward and tentatively begin in the 5th Ward.

Thursday, December 14, will have LRS tentatively collecting leaves in the 4th Ward, and Public Works will concentrate on the 5th Ward.

Friday, December 15, LRS will collect leaves in the 4th Ward, and Public Works will continue in the 5th Ward.

Monday, December 18, Public Works will be in the 3rd Ward.

Tuesday, December 19, Public Works will complete the 3rd Ward.

Wednesday, December 20, Public Works will move on to the 2nd Ward.

Thursday, December 21, Public Works will finish the 2nd Ward.

Finally, on Friday, December 22, Public Works will complete leaf collection in the 2nd Ward.
