V. ZONING ORDINANCE AND RESOLUTIONS 

1. Case #ZBA-2024-001, Petition of Joshua Turner. A Special Use request from Section 20- 6.2.1.1.b of the Unified Development Ordinance. This section allows for a special use when a proposed land split does not meet the 40 acre minimum lot size in the A-1 Agricultural Preservation Zoning District. The petitioner proposes to divide 8.00 acres from an existing 15.97 acre tract. The parcel is located in Elmwood Township. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommends approval. The Land Use Committee concurs. 

2. Case #ZBA-2024-002, Petition of Peoria County. A Text Amendment to amend Chapter 20, Article 3, Section 3.5 (“Special Use Permits”); Article 7, Sections 7.2 ("Wind Energy Conversion Systems") and 7.17 (“Ground Mounted Solar Energy Equipment”) of the Peoria County Code. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommends approval. The Land Use Committee concurs. 

3. A resolution from your Public Safety and Justice Committee recommending approval of a 2024 budget appropriation to receive and expend funding from Administrative Office of Illinois Courts (AOIC) for courtroom technology improvements. (Pending Committee Approval) 

4. A resolution from your County Operations Committee recommending approval of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between Peoria County and Fraternal Order of Police-Corrections Unit and appropriate the funds needed for FY24 for wage increases. (Pending Committee Approval) 

5. A resolution from your Infrastructure Committee recommending approval of MultiTownship bids received for sealcoating (Township Motor Fuel Tax). 

6. A resolution from your Infrastructure Committee recommending approval of the lowest responsible bid submitted for E.D. Etnyre & Co., Oregon, IL, in the amount of $386,000.00 for a new Chip Spreader, with a trade-in value of $20,000.00 for a 2005 Chip Spreader. (Pending Committee Approval) 

7. A resolution from your Infrastructure Committee recommending approval of the lowest responsible bid submitted by Stark Excavating, Bloomington, IL, in the amount of $1,014,010.17 for the Peoria County Jail Ring Road/JDC parking lot replacement. (Pending Committee Approval)
