Median removal work on N William Kumpf Boulevard near the intersection of SW Jefferson Avenue is scheduled to commence this week. Additionally, sidewalk removal work is set to begin near 332 SW Adams Street at the intersection of Harrison Street.

The ongoing sidewalk work at various intersections along SW Adams Street is part of the Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue One-Way to Two-Way (OWTW) Conversion Project. Sidewalk removal work has already started at the intersection of SW Adams Street and Hamilton Boulevard, with closures near 100, 200, and 300 SW Adams Street, and 200 NE Adams Street.

Pedestrians are advised to exercise caution near the closed sidewalk areas and to utilize nearby intersections for crossing. The completion of sidewalk work near 400 SW Adams Street at the intersection of Harrison Street has been reported.

Drivers are reminded of the existing lane and parking restrictions along SW Adams Street, with specific instructions to look for unbagged, available parking meters. Moreover, as the OWTW Project progresses, additional parking, lane, and sidewalk restrictions are expected to be implemented.

In light of the ongoing construction activities, drivers are urged to be vigilant of workers in the area and to adhere to designated no parking zones. Extra caution is advised for all individuals navigating the vicinity during this construction phase.
