Rep. Weaver has been recognized by the Technology and Manufacturing Association (TMA) for achieving a 100 percent voting record, as noted in their newly released 2023 Legislative Scorecard. Weaver is one of 32 Illinois General Assembly members to receive this distinction.

Weaver. "I am proud to stand with small and mid-size manufacturers and consider what is best for them when voting on legislation that impacts their industry."
The TMA’s 2023 Legislative Scorecard monitored lawmakers' votes on several bills, including HB3129 (Mandated Pay Scale Posting), HB1122 (Freelance Worker Protection Act), HB2862 (Temporary Labor Services Act), HB219 (Punitive Damages—Wrongful Death Lawsuits), HB2473 (Nuclear Energy), HB218 (Deceptive Practices with Firearms), and SB1996 (Manufacturing Mentorship Program).
Weaver encourages constituents to learn more about his efforts to support small and mid-size manufacturers in Illinois.
