Senator Neil Anderson and Representative Weaver will host a town hall event tonight in Pekin. The meeting is scheduled from 6-7 p.m. at Coffee Connection, located at 404 Court Street.
"Please join Sen. Neil Anderson and me at a Town Hall Event tonight in Pekin," said Rep. Weaver.
According to the announcement, these town halls are designed to provide residents with updates on activities in Springfield and within their districts, as well as plans for addressing pressing issues in Illinois.
"These town halls are great opportunities for residents to hear about what’s been happening in Springfield, around our Districts, and what our plans are for tackling pressing issues facing Illinois," the statement continued.
Staff members will also be present to assist attendees with issues related to state agencies or inquiries about state programs.
"Staff will also be present and available, so if you’re having an issue with a state agency, or if you have a question about a state program, we’ll be there to help," Rep. Weaver added.
