Last week, Representative Weaver and Dr. Kristen Strom, Director of Education and Agriculture Outreach, visited the Galesburg Area Vocation Center in Galesburg.

Vocational Director Adam Seaney provided an overview of the center's offerings, which include law enforcement and automotive training, as well as CNA and early-childhood programs.

Representative Weaver participated in activities with the CNA students, including acting as a patient and trying on a pregnancy vest used for training purposes.

"Thank you for the incredible tour," said Representative Weaver. "I’m so excited to see how the GAVC expands and serves more students in the future."
