Sidewalk work is progressing at several intersections along Adams Street. The north side of the intersection of Harrison Street and SW Adams Street, as well as the north side of Liberty Street and SW Adams Street, are currently under construction.

Work is also ongoing at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and NE Adams Street, near the Peoria County Courthouse, and at Fulton Plaza and SW Adams Street. Sidewalks in the vicinity of 400 and 300 SW Adams Street are closed to pedestrians.

Removal work on the north side of Liberty Street and SW Adams Street, near 300 Liberty Street, will commence shortly.

Pedestrians are advised to exercise caution around these closures and use alternative intersections for crossing.

Lane and parking restrictions continue along SW Adams Street. On-street parking restrictions are clearly marked. Drivers should utilize unbagged parking meters for street parking. Parking meters with "No Parking" signs indicate restricted areas where parking will lead to fines and vehicle removal at the owner's expense.

Further restrictions on parking, lanes, and sidewalks will be announced as the Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue One-Way to Two-Way Conversion Project advances.
