There were 1,169 Asian students enrolled in Peoria County school districts in the 2022-23 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Asian students made up 4.3% of the 27,081 students in the county. They were the third least represented ethnicity at the time.

Among the 18 districts in Peoria County, Dunlap Community Unit School District 323 recorded the highest enrollment of Asian students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 1,019 students.

The main offices of all districts mentioned in the story are located in cities associated with Peoria County.
