City of El Paso Zoning Board of Appeals met Oct. 24.

The City of El Paso Zoning Board Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman, Chris Gentes.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Roll call was taken with Members Renee Donaldson, Maureen Drake, and Chris Gentes present and John Landrus via phone.
Absent was Mary Wilkey and Ken Faulk.
Others present were Director of Public Service, Barry Kauther; Steve & Marylin Unger and Administrative Assistant, Sandee Kessinger was present via Zoom.
Discussion was on an area variance request and possible recommendation for Steve and Marylin Unger who are requesting for 698 E. 6th Street. The application is requesting an eight-foot variance on the north side of their principal building (resident) to build a porch. The property legal description is T26N-R2E-S05 PT of BLK 1 Gibson Addition in the City of El Paso, Woodford County, Illinois 61738. Tax Parcel ID 16-05- 408-031.
Donaldson made a motion to recommend that the City Council approve the variance request and Gentes seconded the motion. A voice vote was taken of all ayes.
Gentes made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Drake seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 6:05 pm.
