Light snow is currently affecting much of the city, according to a 4:30 am update from the Department of Public Works. While primary streets remain in good condition and are drivable, caution is advised due to partially snow-covered residential roads and potential slick spots.

The snowfall is predicted to continue through the morning and into early afternoon, with forecasts indicating an accumulation of 1 to 3 inches. Commuters are urged to allow extra time for their journeys and exercise increased stopping distance on the roads.

Residents are reminded that "road conditions can change quickly when snow is falling." The Department advises drivers to "drive slow, stay safe," as they navigate their morning commute.
