Traffic advisory issued for MLK Freedom March Parade in Peoria

Rolling lane restrictions will be in place on January 20 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the Martin Luther King Jr. Freedom March Parade in Peoria. The event is organized by the King Holiday Committee of Peoria, Bradley University, and Illinois Central College.

Drivers are advised to use caution and consider alternative routes during this time.

The parade will start at Bradley University's Garrett Cultural Center located at 824 N. Duryea Place. It will proceed south on N. Duryea Place, then head west on W. Moss Avenue. From there, it will continue south on N. Western Avenue and west on W. Martin Street, concluding at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 305 S. Madison Park Terrace.
