Peoria School District 150 had the highest enrollment among Peoria County districts, welcoming 12,661 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2023-24 school year, 52.1% of them were boys, and 47.9% were girls.

Data also showed that the majority of students identified themselves as Black, making up 56.6% of the Peoria School District 150's total enrollment.

Among the 18 districts in Peoria County, Dunlap Community Unit School District 323 ranked second in enrollment numbers with 4,752 students, while Illinois Valley Central Unit School District 321 welcomed 2,075 students and ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.
