Work on the Pioneer Parkway and University Street Intersection Reconstruction Project is set to resume on Tuesday, February 25, weather permitting. The project will focus on the section of W Pioneer Parkway between N Harker Drive and N Sommer Street.
Traffic patterns for eastbound and westbound travel will remain unchanged initially, with one lane open in each direction. Similarly, northbound and southbound traffic on N University Street will continue in their current lanes. However, as construction progresses, lane shifts and changes in traffic configurations are expected.
Drivers are advised to remain vigilant of these patterns and exercise caution around workers present in the area.
The reconstruction project has a budget of $9.1 million and is now entering its second and final year.
