Rolling lane restrictions will be implemented on several city streets starting at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, for the Manual High School Boys Basketball IHSA State Finals Tournament Parade. The Peoria Fire Department will escort the parade, and drivers are encouraged to exercise caution and patience along the route. Alternative routes are recommended.
The parade will start at Manual High School, located at 811 S. Griswold Street. It will proceed east on W. Lincoln Avenue and then northeast on S.W. Adams Street. From there, it will travel northwest on S. MacArthur Highway before heading west on W. Howett Street. Finally, the parade will move south on S. Griswold Street and conclude back at Manual High School.
