City-wide yard waste collection is set to resume next week, beginning on Monday, March 17. The service will continue through Friday, December 12.

Residents are reminded that acceptable yard waste materials include grass clippings, leaves, tree limbs, and brush. Tree limbs and sticks should be bundled using nonmetallic cords like twine. Each bundle must be less than five feet long and weigh under 50 pounds.

For unbundled materials, residents can use their own containers. Acceptable options include plastic or metal garbage cans ranging from 40 to 45 gallons with two handles and a tight-fitting lid. Wheeled carts of either 65 or 95 gallons are also permissible. Containers should be labeled with “Yard Waste Only” stickers available at City Hall, Public Works, or any GFL location.
