The City of Peoria Department of Public Works is organizing a public meeting to discuss the municipal separate storm sewer system and the combined sewer overflow control program. This event is scheduled for Thursday, March 20, from noon to 1 pm at the Peoria Public Library Lincoln Branch, located in the Hot Air Balloon Room at 1312 W Lincoln Ave.

Residents are invited to attend this meeting to gain insights into the operation of the city's storm sewer system and how combined sewer overflows are managed. The session will provide information on both systems' similarities and differences and how rainwater impacts them.

City representatives from the stormwater and combined sewer overflow programs will be present to address any questions. Additionally, this meeting will serve as the annual update for the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Control Program, where a summary and status report of the program will be shared.
