Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, turn lane closures will be implemented at the intersection of W Pioneer Parkway and N University Street. These closures are anticipated to continue through the end of the week. The temporary shutdowns are necessary for electrical work related to the ongoing Pioneer Parkway and University Street Intersection Reconstruction Project.
The affected lanes include the turn lane from eastbound W Pioneer Parkway onto southbound N University Street, as well as the turn lane from northbound N University Street onto eastbound W Pioneer Parkway. Both lanes will be closed to all traffic.
Drivers are advised to use alternative routes such as W Willow Knolls Drive or W Townline Road during this period. Caution is urged in the area while construction work is underway.
