Sidewalk work has commenced at the southeast corner of Main Street and NE Jefferson Avenue, close to the Peoria County Courthouse. Due to construction, sidewalks near this intersection are closed, and pedestrians are advised to exercise caution and cross at the nearest intersection.

In addition, sidewalk construction is ongoing at Fulton Plaza on SW Jefferson Avenue, affecting pathways near 331 Fulton Street and 120 SW Jefferson Avenue. Meanwhile, work at the northeast corner of SW Adams Street and N William Kumpf Boulevard is almost complete, with reopening expected soon.

Some intersections have already seen completion and have reopened to pedestrian traffic: the southwest corner of SW Jefferson Avenue and Liberty Street, the southwest corner of SW Harrison Street and Jefferson Avenue, and the northwest corner of SW Adams Street and N William Kumpf Boulevard.

Upcoming sidewalk removal is scheduled for the southeast corner of Hamilton Boulevard and NE Jefferson Avenue, by 200 NE Jefferson Avenue.

Notices remind pedestrians to be cautious and use available crossings when sidewalks are closed.

For drivers, on-street parking restrictions are indicated with clear signage. Available spaces are marked, and drivers should avoid parking in areas with visible "No Parking" signs.

Further updates on parking, lane, and sidewalk restrictions are expected as part of the ongoing Adams Street and Jefferson Avenue One-Way to Two-Way (OWTW) Conversion Project. Drivers are urged to remain vigilant for workers and adhere to no-parking zones, maintaining caution in the construction areas.
