Rolling lane restrictions will be in place on several city streets from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, for the 2025 Ride of Silence event sponsored by Bike Peoria.
Drivers are advised to be cautious and consider using alternative routes during this time.
The bike route begins at Tower Park, located at 1222 E. Kingman Avenue in Peoria Heights. Riders will proceed south on N. Prospect Road before heading east on E. Hines Avenue. They will continue east on E. Hines Avenue and then move south on N. Grand Boulevard.
From N. Grand Boulevard, participants will ride west on E. War Memorial Drive until reaching N. New York Avenue, where they will head north to E. Lake Avenue.
Continuing east on E. Lake Avenue, riders will return to N. Prospect Road and travel north back to Tower Park.
