Weed control spraying will take place throughout Waukegan after hours tonight. The City of Waukegan has contracted G & S Services of IL Inc. to manage right-of-way weed control from June 6 through October 31, 2025. Spraying will be conducted as needed on city-owned properties within the area bordered by the lakefront to the east, West Street to the west, Belvidere Road to the south, and Julian Street to the north. The effort will focus on treating cracks in sidewalks, curbs, parking lots, planting beds, and turf areas.
