Rolling lane restrictions will be in place on several streets in Peoria from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, due to the Run the Bluff 5K. The event is sponsored by the East Bluff Community Center.
Motorists are advised to use caution and patience along the race route and to consider alternative routes.
The race begins at the East Bluff Community Center at 512 E. Kansas St. Runners will leave from the parking lot off E. Nebraska Avenue, head west to N. Peoria Avenue, then north on N. Peoria Avenue. The course continues east on E. Arcadia Avenue, north through the alley between N. Wisconsin Avenue and N. Delaware Street, east on E. Archer Avenue, south on N. Atlantic Avenue, west on E. Republic Street, and south on N. Maryland Avenue.
Participants will proceed east on E. Kansas Avenue, south on N. Atlantic Avenue, west on E. Behrends Avenue, south on N. Delaware Street, east on E. Ravine Avenue, and south on N. Indiana Avenue before heading west again on E. Illinois Avenue and north on N. California Avenue to finish back at the East Bluff Community Center via E. Nebraska Avenue.

The lane restrictions are temporary and part of safety measures for participants during the event.
