Village of Brimfield Zoning Board of Appeals met March 28.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meeting was called to order on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 6:45 pm by President B. Starling with Symonds, Smith, McKown and Howe present.
The December 2016 minutes were presented for approval. Smith made the motion seconded by McKown to approve, motion carried unanimously.
The January 2017 minutes were presented for approval. The incorrectly state that the December 2016 minutes were approved at the January 2017 meeting. This needs to be changed as they were not. Smith made the motion to approve the January 2017 minutes with the above stated change, Symonds seconded the motion, approved unanimously.
President Starling informed the Board the Steve Updyke’s term has expired and he will be replaced by Village Board President Fishel.
New Business:
The Brimfield Historical Society was present to discuss repairs to the Guyer Log Cabin. The bottom logs need to be replaced with a four block high base. President Starling stated that since it is an existing structure no permit or special procedures are needed. He reminded the Society to contact J.U.L.I.E. before doing any digging and to follow all safety procedures.
There were no other items of business to discuss.
It was noted that the next meeting is Tuesday April 25, 2017 at 6:30 pm.
McKown made a motion to adjourn seconded by Symonds. Meeting adjourned.
