Consent Agenda Items By Omnibus Vote: (All matters listed under Consent Agenda will be enacted by one motion and one roll call vote. There will not be separate discussion on these items. If discussion is desired by Members of the City Council, the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and discussed immediately after approval of the Consent Agenda. Motion to approve the Consent Agenda.

Item No. 1 - Adoption of Resolution No. 1718-058 – Resolution to Approve Payment of the Schedule of Bills No. 9 in the amount of $1,126,028.53.

Item No. 2 – Adoption of Resolution No. 1718-051 on its Second Reading – Resolution accepting the low bid from C&G Concrete Construction Company Inc. for the Riverfront Park concrete replacement and stabilization of sheet pile in the amount of $14,000.

Item No. 3 – Adoption of Resolution No. 1718-053 on its Second Reading – Resolution authorizing the purchase of a Caterpillar Model D175-2 generator from Altorfer Inc. in the amount of $40,582 for Public Works Moschel Pump Station Genset & Transfer Switch Replacement.

Item No. 4 – Adoption of Resolution No. 1718-052 on its Second Reading – Resolution approving a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of East Peoria and the Policemen’s Benevolent Labor Committee representing the Telecommunicators Local No. 463 for a two (2) year term beginning May 1, 2017 and terminating on April 30, 2019.

Adoption of Ordinance No. 4349 on its Second Reading – (An Ordinance Providing For The Vacation Of Part Of Glenview Avenue, Chestnut Drive And Locust Avenue Adjacent To Lots 9 Through 16 Of Glenview Heights Extension No. 1, A Subdivision Located In The City Of East Peoria).

Approval of Ordinance No. 4350 – (An Ordinance Amending Title 4, Chapter 4, Section 7 Of The East Peoria City Code Regarding Demolition Requirements).

To be laid on the table for no less than one week for public inspection.

Adoption of Resolution No. 1718-056 – Resolution to approve the appointment by Mayor Mingus of Andrew N. Paulson to the East Peoria Planning Commission.

Adoption of Resolution No. 1718-057 – Resolution requesting permission for Temporary Closure of State Maintained Roadways for a Public Event for the Festival of Lights Parade on November 18, 2017.

Adoption of Ordinance No. 4353 – (An Ordinance Imposing An Additional One-Half Of One Percent Sales Tax).

Commissioner Jeffers:

Commissioner Kahl:

Approval of Resolution No. 1718-059 – Resolution approving an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of East Peoria, the City of Pekin, the City of Washington, the Village of Morton, Tazewell County, the Tazewell County Sheriff, and the Tazewell County Emergency Telephone System Board regarding the consolidation mandate required by the Emergency Telephone Systems Act.
