Develop Description Statement for Committee

Staff Liaison David Watkins reminded the members they talked about wanting to have some consistency in how to describe the committee when speaking to groups. As a result, decided to develop a statement each member could use.

Committee Member Amr Elsamny mentioned development of a power point presentation could help bring about consistency when members speak about the committee. Committee Member Melynda McKeever and others agreed a power point would be helpful.

As discussion continued, the members returned to talking about development of a statement. They focused on forming a committee and who would lead the effort. Committee Member Kendra Moses-Hagan said she would willing to work on putting committee together. Committee Member Melynda McKeever volunteered to help. She also cautioned the committee about allowing just one or two members to take on the work of the committee. Everyone must be willing to accept and perform a task.
