City of West Peoria Transportation Committee met March 13.
Here is the minutes provided by the Committee:
1. Chair Silver called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
2. Members Present were: Chair Silver, Alderpersons Goranson and Thomas. Also present were Mayor Dillon, City Administrator Krider, Public Works Manager Strube, Alderperson Siewert, and Clerk Barnes.
3. Review of Sidewalk Bids for Fairway Drive
Public Works Manager Strube presented the opened bids. Two of the companies that were lower than the others had not included all in the bid sheet. Horowitz Company's bid was the lowest and most inclusive of the bids offered.
4. Action arising from Review:
A motion to recommend to Council the bid from Horowitz for the Fairway Special Service Area Sidewalk Project in the amount of $90,212.00 (Resident's portion) and $12,357.00 (City's Portion) was made by Chair Silver and seconded by Alderperson Goranson.
Motion carried.
5. A Motion to Adjourn was made by Alderperson Goranson at 6:04 p.m. and seconded by Alderperson Thomas.
Motion carried.
